WS 2009 87 Red fruit flavors are ripe and round, almost w/ a candied quality. Perfumed notes of plumeria & violet give this some charm, as do the firm tannins and spice notes on the finish.
WE 2011 86 At 50,000 cases imported, this must be one of the most ubiquitous New Zealand Pinots in the United States. It’s medium bodied & tightly wound, w/ crisp core of mouthwatering acidity that adds zest to the flavors of dark cherry, earth & leather.
Winemaker Notes Fragrant, soft & flavorful w/ aromas of ripe cherries & sweet fruit tannins that provide structure and length.
